Cheesy chicken fritters

Yum! Cheesy Chicken Fritters are crispy on the outside, tender inside, and super easy to make. They’re great for dinner, snacks, or even lunch boxes.


Cheesy Chicken Fritters

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, finely chopped or shredded
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise or sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2–3 tbsp oil (for frying)
  • Optional: chopped green onions or parsley

Instructions:

  1. Mix the batter:
    • In a bowl, combine chicken, cheese, eggs, flour, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and optional herbs.
    • Stir until well combined.
  2. Heat the pan:
    • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook the fritters:
    • Scoop about 2 tablespoons of mixture per fritter into the pan.
    • Flatten slightly and cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Drain and serve:
    • Transfer to a paper towel–lined plate.
    • Serve warm.

💡 Tips:

  • Use rotisserie chicken for extra flavor and convenience.
  • Serve with ranch, garlic aioli, or sweet chili sauce.
  • These also cook well in an air fryer: 375°F (190°C) for about 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway.
