Here’s a gooey chocolate caramel turtle cakrolle  recipe 🍫🥜

It’s rich, soft, and filled with chocolate, caramel, and pecans—no alcohol, just dessert goodness.


Gooey Chocolate Caramel Turtle Cake Roll

Ingredients

Chocolate cake

  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Filling

  • ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • ½ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips

Topping

  • Extra caramel sauce
  • Melted chocolate or chocolate chips
  • Chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Prep
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Line a jelly roll pan with parchment and lightly grease.
  2. Make the cake
    • Whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
    • Beat eggs and sugar until thick and pale.
    • Mix in vanilla.
    • Gently fold in dry ingredients.
    • Spread batter evenly in the pan.
  3. Bake
    • Bake 10–12 minutes, until cake springs back when touched.
  4. Roll while warm
    • Dust a clean kitchen towel with powdered sugar.
    • Turn cake onto towel, peel parchment off.
    • Roll cake (with towel) from short end.
    • Let cool completely.
  5. Make filling
    • Whip cream and powdered sugar until fluffy.
  6. Fill
    • Carefully unroll cake.
    • Spread whipped cream evenly.
    • Drizzle caramel sauce.
    • Sprinkle pecans and chocolate chips.
    • Roll cake back up gently.
  7. Decorate
    • Drizzle with caramel and melted chocolate.
    • Sprinkle more pecans on top.
  8. Chill & serve
    • Chill at least 30 minutes before slicing.

Tips

  • Don’t overbake or the cake will crack.
  • Use room-temperature eggs for best texture.
  • Clean slices = wipe knife between cuts.
