🍝 Steak & Shrimp Pasta (Serves 3–4)
Ingredients
Pasta
- 12 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or linguine)
Protein
- 8 oz steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced thin
- 8 oz shrimp, peeled & deveined
Seasoning
- Salt & black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder or minced garlic
Sauce
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp paprika (optional)
- Optional: red pepper flakes
Extras (optional)
- Spinach or mushrooms
- Chopped parsley
Instructions
- Cook pasta
- Boil pasta in salted water until al dente.
- Reserve ½ cup pasta water; drain.
- Cook steak
- Season steak with salt, pepper, and garlic.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan on medium-high.
- Sear steak 2–3 minutes, remove and set aside.
- Cook shrimp
- In the same pan, add shrimp.
- Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove.
- Make sauce
- Lower heat to medium.
- Add butter and cream to the pan.
- Stir in Parmesan, paprika, and pepper flakes. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Combine
- Add pasta, steak, and shrimp to sauce.
- Toss, adding pasta water if needed.
- Serve
- Garnish with parsley or extra Parmesan.
