Crispy Cotton Candy Cheesecake Bombs

Posted on February 23, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a fun and indulgent recipe for Crispy Cotton Candy Cheesecake Bombs—bite-sized, creamy on the inside, with a crunchy exterior and a whimsical cotton candy twist:

Crispy Cotton Candy Cheesecake Bombs

Ingredients (makes ~12–15 bombs):

For the Cheesecake Filling:

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream

For the Coating & Crunch:

  • 1 cup crispy rice cereal or crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate or candy melts, melted
  • Cotton candy pieces, for garnish

Optional: Sprinkles for extra fun

Instructions

  1. Make the cheesecake filling:
    • In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and heavy cream until smooth and creamy.
  2. Form balls:
    • Using a small spoon or cookie scoop, form 1–1.5 inch balls. Place them on a parchment-lined tray. Freeze for 30 minutes to firm up.
  3. Prepare the coating:
    • Crush crispy rice cereal or graham crackers into small pieces.
    • Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 20–30 seconds until smooth.
  4. Coat the cheesecake balls:
    • Dip each cheesecake ball into the melted chocolate, then roll in the crushed cereal or cracker crumbs.
    • Place back on the tray and chill for at least 15 minutes to set.
  5. Add cotton candy topping:
    • Just before serving, gently place a small tuft of cotton candy on top of each bomb. Avoid chilling cotton candy—it will dissolve.
    • Optional: add colorful sprinkles or edible glitter for extra whimsy.
  6. Serve & enjoy:
    • Bite-sized, creamy, crunchy, and magically fluffy! Serve immediately.

💡 Tips:

  • You can flavor the cheesecake filling with fruit puree (strawberry, raspberry) for a fruity twist.
  • For extra crunch, mix a tiny pinch of crushed nuts into the coating.
  • Keep these chilled until serving—cheesecake stays creamy, and the crunch holds up.

If you want, I can give a cotton candy explosion version where the bomb melts in your mouth and the cotton candy literally “puffs” when bitten—super dramatic for parties! Do you want me to share that version?
