Alright, let’s make a crispy chicken fillet that’s crunchy on the outside and juicy inside. 🍗 Here’s a foolproof recipe:


Crispy Chicken Fillet Recipe

Ingredients (for 2–3 fillets):

  • 2–3 chicken breast fillets
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko gives extra crunch)
  • Oil for frying (vegetable, canola, or sunflower)

Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken:
    • Flatten the fillets slightly with a meat mallet for even cooking.
    • Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Set up coating stations:
    • Bowl 1: Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder.
    • Bowl 2: Beat egg with milk.
    • Bowl 3: Place breadcrumbs.
  3. Coat the fillets:
    • Dredge in flour → dip in egg → coat with breadcrumbs. Press gently to stick.
  4. Fry:
    • Heat ½ inch of oil in a pan over medium heat.
    • Fry fillets 3–4 min per side until golden brown and internal temp reaches 75°C / 165°F.
    • Drain on paper towels.
  5. Serve:
    • Slice and serve with fries, salad, or in a sandwich.

Pro tip: For extra crunch, double-dip the fillets in egg & breadcrumbs before frying.
