Here’s a crispy, juicy air fryer chicken tenders recipe—super easy and healthier than deep-frying 🍗✨


Air Fryer Chicken Tenders

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (or regular breadcrumbs)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional for color & flavor)
  • Cooking spray or a little oil

Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken
    Pat chicken tenders dry with paper towels.
  2. Set up breading station
    • Bowl 1: flour + salt + pepper
    • Bowl 2: beaten eggs
    • Bowl 3: breadcrumbs + paprika
  3. Bread the tenders
    • Dredge each tender in flour, shake off excess
    • Dip in egg
    • Coat evenly with breadcrumbs
  4. Preheat air fryer to 200°C / 400°F for 3–5 minutes.
  5. Cook
    • Place tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer (don’t overcrowd).
    • Lightly spray with cooking spray or brush with oil.
    • Air fry 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and internal temperature reaches 75°C / 165°F.

Serving Ideas

  • With ranch, honey mustard, or ketchup
  • On a salad or sandwich
  • With fries, roasted veggies, or rice

Tips

  • For extra crunch, mix parmesan cheese into the breadcrumbs.
  • Don’t overcrowd the basket—cook in batches if needed.
  • Can marinate chicken in buttermilk for 30 minutes before breading for more tender tenders.
