Here’s a delicious Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars recipe 🍫🍯
Sweet, chewy, and crunchy—all in one treat.

Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars

Ingredients

For the base

  • 2 cups crispy rice cereal (like Rice Krispies)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup brown sugar

For the caramel layer

  • 1 cup caramel candies or soft caramel squares
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

For the topping

  • ½–1 cup chocolate chips (milk or dark)
  • Optional: sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Prepare base
    • Grease a 9×9-inch pan and line with parchment paper.
    • In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat.
    • Stir in chocolate chips until smooth.
    • Remove from heat and mix in crispy rice cereal.
    • Press mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  2. Add caramel
    • In a small saucepan, melt caramel with cream over low heat, stirring until smooth.
    • Pour over the cereal base and spread evenly.
  3. Add chocolate topping
    • Melt chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
    • Pour over caramel layer and smooth with a spatula.
    • Sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt if desired.
  4. Set
    • Refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours until firm.
  5. Serve
    • Cut into bars and enjoy!

Tips

  • Use soft caramels for easier melting.
  • Press base firmly so bars hold together well.
  • For extra crunch, add chopped nuts or toffee bits to the base.

If you want a peanut butter version, mini bite-sized version, or gluten-free variation, I can give that too.
