Cheesy chicken fritters 🧀🍗—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and packed with flavor. These are great for dinner, lunch, or even as a snack.


Cheesy Chicken Fritters

Ingredients (Makes ~10–12 fritters)

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, finely chopped or shredded
    (rotisserie chicken works great)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
  • 2 eggs
  • ⅓ cup all-purpose flour (or breadcrumbs)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise or plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley or green onion (optional)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix batter
    In a bowl, combine chicken, cheese, eggs, flour, mayo, garlic, spices, and herbs. Mix until well combined.
  2. Heat pan
    Heat a thin layer of oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook fritters
    Scoop about 2 tablespoons of mixture per fritter into the pan.
    Flatten slightly and cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Drain & serve
    Transfer to paper towels or a rack. Serve warm.

Dipping Sauce Ideas

  • Ranch
  • Honey mustard
  • Garlic aioli
  • Ketchup or BBQ sauce

Tips & Variations

  • Add corn or finely diced bell peppers for texture
  • Use parmesan for extra savory flavor
  • Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15–18 minutes, flipping once, for a lighter version
  • Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes
