🍗 Chicken Bites



Tender, bite-sized pieces of chicken that are perfect as an appetizer, snack, or main dish.
🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 1 lb (450 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1–2 cups breadcrumbs or panko
- Optional: ½ tsp cayenne for heat
- Oil for frying (or cooking spray for baking)
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prep
- Set up a dredging station: flour mixed with spices, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
2️⃣ Coat Chicken
- Dip each chicken piece in flour → egg → breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to adhere.
3️⃣ Cook
Frying:
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry chicken bites 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).
Baking:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place bites on a greased baking sheet. Spray lightly with oil.
- Bake 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
4️⃣ Serve
- Serve hot with dipping sauces: honey mustard, ranch, BBQ, or buffalo.
💡 Tips
- Panko breadcrumbs give extra crunch.
- Marinate chicken in a little buttermilk for 30 minutes for juicier bites.
- Add parmesan to breadcrumbs for cheesy flavor.
