Tender, bite-sized pieces of chicken that are perfect as an appetizer, snack, or main dish.


🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 lb (450 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1–2 cups breadcrumbs or panko
  • Optional: ½ tsp cayenne for heat
  • Oil for frying (or cooking spray for baking)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prep

  • Set up a dredging station: flour mixed with spices, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.

2️⃣ Coat Chicken

  • Dip each chicken piece in flour → egg → breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to adhere.

3️⃣ Cook

Frying:

  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Fry chicken bites 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).

Baking:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place bites on a greased baking sheet. Spray lightly with oil.
  • Bake 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.

4️⃣ Serve

  • Serve hot with dipping sauces: honey mustard, ranch, BBQ, or buffalo.

💡 Tips

  • Panko breadcrumbs give extra crunch.
  • Marinate chicken in a little buttermilk for 30 minutes for juicier bites.
  • Add parmesan to breadcrumbs for cheesy flavor.
