  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (slurry for thickening)

Optional garnish:

  • Chopped green onions
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

1️⃣ Fry the Chicken

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Dip chicken pieces in beaten eggs, then dredge in the flour mixture.
  3. Heat 1/4–1/2 inch oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Fry chicken in batches until golden brown and cooked through (4–6 minutes). Drain on paper towels.
