Easy fried cheese bites

Posted on January 3, 2026 by Admin

Oh yes! Easy fried cheese bites are crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and super fun to make. Here’s a simple recipe you can whip up in under 30 minutes:

Easy Fried Cheese Bites

Servings: 4–6
Cook Time: 10–15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225 g) cheese (mozzarella works best, but cheddar or a mix is fine), cut into small cubes
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola oil works best)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Coating
    • Put flour in one bowl.
    • Beat eggs in a second bowl.
    • Mix breadcrumbs with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a third bowl.
  2. Coat the Cheese
    • Roll each cheese cube in flour → dip in egg → coat with breadcrumbs.
    • For extra crispiness, repeat the egg + breadcrumb step for a double coating.
  3. Fry the Cheese
    • Heat about 1–2 inches of oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
    • Fry cheese bites in small batches for 1–2 minutes, until golden brown.
    • Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  4. Serve
    • Enjoy immediately while hot and gooey!
    • Optional: Serve with marinara sauce, ranch, or a spicy dip.

💡 Tips:

  • Freeze the cheese bites for 15–20 minutes before frying to prevent the cheese from melting too fast.
  • You can use panko breadcrumbs for an extra-crispy coating.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan—fry in batches for even cooking.

If you want, I can also give a baked version that’s even easier and less messy but still golden and gooey.

Do you want me to do that?
