🍚 Chicken, Steak & Shrimp Fried Rice (Serves 3–4)
Ingredients
Protein
- ½ cup cooked chicken, diced
- ½ cup cooked steak, diced
- ½ cup shrimp, peeled & deveined
Rice
- 3 cups cold, cooked rice (day-old works best)
Veggies
- ½ cup frozen peas & carrots (or mixed veggies)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 eggs, beaten
Seasoning
- 3 tbsp soy sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Optional: pinch of garlic powder or ginger
Cooking
- 2–3 tbsp oil (vegetable or canola)
Instructions
- Cook shrimp
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large pan or wok
- Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink
- Remove and set aside
- Scramble eggs
- Add a little oil if needed
- Pour in eggs, scramble lightly, remove and set aside
- Stir-fry rice
- Add remaining oil
- Add rice, break up clumps
- Cook 2–3 minutes until hot
- Add proteins & veggies
- Add chicken, steak, shrimp, and veggies
- Stir-fry 2–3 minutes
- Season
- Add soy sauce, sesame oil, pepper
- Mix well
- Finish
- Add eggs and green onions
- Toss everything together and cook 1 more minute
