Garlic Roll Cupcakes
Ingredients
- 2 ¼ teaspoons (1 packet) active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk (110°F / 43°C)
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (for brushing)
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Make the dough
- In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.
- Add yeast mixture and 3 tablespoons melted butter. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Knead 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover and let rise 1 hour, until doubled in size.
- Shape rolls
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Punch down dough and divide into 12 pieces.
- Roll each piece into a ball and place in a greased 12-cup muffin pan.
- Make garlic butter
- Mix remaining 4 tablespoons butter with minced garlic and parsley.
- Brush & bake
- Brush each roll generously with garlic butter.
- Bake 15–20 minutes, until golden brown.
- Serve
- Brush with more garlic butter after baking if desired. Serve warm.
