Grilled cheese sandwich

Here’s a classic grilled cheese sandwich recipe 🥪🧀
Crispy outside, melty inside—super easy.


Classic Grilled Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread (white, sourdough, or whole wheat)
  • 2 slices cheese (cheddar, American, mozzarella, or a mix)
  • 1–2 tablespoons butter (softened)

Instructions

  1. Butter the bread
    • Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
  2. Assemble
    • Place one slice, butter-side down, in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Add cheese, then top with second slice (butter-side up).
  3. Cook
    • Cook 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
    • Flip carefully and cook another 2–3 minutes until cheese melts.
  4. Serve
    • Remove, let cool for a minute, slice, and enjoy.

Tips & Variations

  • 🧀 Use two cheeses for extra meltiness.
  • 🧄 Spread a little garlic butter for flavor.
  • 🍅 Add tomato slices or serve with tomato soup.
  • 🔥 Lower heat = better melt without burning.
