Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or lunchbox treat.

- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Assemble
- Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut into strips about 1–1.5 inches wide.
- Place a piece of ham and cheese on each strip.
- Fold pastry over or roll around the filling, pinching edges to seal.
- Egg wash
- Brush tops with beaten egg.
- Sprinkle with seeds if desired.
- Bake
- Bake 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
- Serve
- Let cool slightly and serve warm.
Tips
- Use thin ham slices for easy rolling.
- Can freeze assembled sticks before baking—bake straight from frozen (add 3–4 minutes).
- Add a little mustard or garlic powder for extra flavor.
If you want a mini version, cheesy-only version, or with herbs, I can give that variation too.
