🦞 Garlic Butter Baked Lobster Tails

Ingredients (serves 2–4)

  • 2–4 lobster tails
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley & lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the lobster

  • Preheat oven to 425°F / 220°C.
  • Using kitchen scissors, cut down the top of the shell lengthwise.
  • Gently pull the meat up and rest it on top of the shell (this is called “butterflying”).

2️⃣ Make garlic butter

  • Mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.

3️⃣ Season & bake

  • Brush lobster meat generously with garlic butter.
  • Place on a baking sheet and bake 10–12 minutes, depending on size.
  • Lobster is done when meat is opaque and internal temp reaches 140–145°F (60–63°C).

4️⃣ Serve

  • Brush with extra garlic butter.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

  • Don’t overcook—lobster turns rubbery quickly.
  • For extra flavor, broil the last 1–2 minutes for a lightly golden top.
