Roasted cauliflower

Here’s a simple, crispy roasted cauliflower recipe that works every time 🥦✨

Classic Roasted Cauliflower

Ingredients

  • 1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Optional seasonings (choose 1–2):

  • Garlic powder or fresh minced garlic
  • Paprika or smoked paprika
  • Cumin
  • Chili flakes
  • Parmesan cheese (added after roasting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C / 425°F.
  2. Dry the cauliflower well (this helps it get crispy).
  3. Toss florets with olive oil, salt, pepper, and chosen seasonings.
  4. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet (don’t overcrowd).
  5. Roast 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  6. Optional: finish with lemon juice, Parmesan, or fresh herbs.

Flavor Variations

  • Garlic Parmesan: add grated Parmesan right after roasting.
  • Spicy: toss with chili flakes or cayenne.
  • Middle Eastern: cumin + coriander + tahini drizzle.
  • Jamaican-style: allspice, thyme, mild chili, and a squeeze of lime.
