Posted on December 31, 2025 by Admin

Here’s a creamy steak and shrimp pasta that’s rich but easy to make 🍝🥩🍤
Perfect for a special dinner or weekend meal.

🍝 Steak & Shrimp Pasta (Serves 3–4)

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or linguine)

Protein

  • 8 oz steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced thin
  • 8 oz shrimp, peeled & deveined

Seasoning

  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or minced garlic

Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)
  • Optional: red pepper flakes

Extras (optional)

  • Spinach or mushrooms
  • Chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta
    • Boil pasta in salted water until al dente.
    • Reserve ½ cup pasta water; drain.
  2. Cook steak
    • Season steak with salt, pepper, and garlic.
    • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan on medium-high.
    • Sear steak 2–3 minutes, remove and set aside.
  3. Cook shrimp
    • In the same pan, add shrimp.
    • Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove.
  4. Make sauce
    • Lower heat to medium.
    • Add butter and cream to the pan.
    • Stir in Parmesan, paprika, and pepper flakes. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
  5. Combine
    • Add pasta, steak, and shrimp to sauce.
    • Toss, adding pasta water if needed.
  6. Serve
    • Garnish with parsley or extra Parmesan.

🌟 Tips

  • Slice steak against the grain for tenderness
  • Don’t overcook shrimp—they turn rubbery fast
  • For lighter sauce, use half-and-half

Variations

  • Garlic butter version: Skip cream, use more butter & garlic
  • Cajun style: Add Cajun seasoning instead of paprika
  • Tomato cream: Add ¼ cup marinara to the sauce

Want a spicy Cajun version, no-cream option, or one-pan method? 😊
