Strawberry Banana Pudding

  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: vanilla wafers or shortcake cookies for layers

Instructions

  1. Prepare pudding:
    • In a bowl, whisk the instant pudding mix with cold milk for 2 minutes.
    • Let it set for 5 minutes.
  2. Whip cream:
    • In another bowl, whip heavy cream with sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  3. Layer the pudding:
    • In a serving dish or individual cups:
      1. A layer of pudding
      2. A layer of banana and strawberry slices
      3. Optional: a layer of vanilla wafers or crumbled cookies
      4. Repeat layers until ingredients are used, ending with pudding on top
  4. Top with whipped cream:
    • Spread or pipe the whipped cream over the top layer.
  5. Chill:
    • Refrigerate at least 1–2 hours to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Serve:
    • Garnish with extra strawberry slices or a sprinkle of cookie crumbs.
