Strawberry Banana Pudding

Posted on February 25, 2026 by Admin

Ah, Strawberry Banana Pudding—creamy, fruity, and perfect as a light dessert or snack! 🍓🍌 Here’s a simple, tasty version:

Strawberry Banana Pudding

Ingredients (serves 4–6):

  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup sliced bananas
  • 1 package (3.4 oz / 96 g) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: vanilla wafers, graham crackers, or shortcake cookies for layering

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pudding:
    • In a medium bowl, whisk the pudding mix with cold milk for 2 minutes.
    • Let it set for 5 minutes.
  2. Whip the cream:
    • In another bowl, whip heavy cream with sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  3. Layer the dessert:
    • In a serving dish or individual cups, layer:
      1. A layer of pudding
      2. A layer of banana and strawberry slices
      3. Optional: a layer of vanilla wafers or cookie crumbs
      4. Repeat layers, ending with pudding on top
  4. Top with whipped cream:
    • Spread or pipe the whipped cream over the top layer.
  5. Chill:
    • Refrigerate at least 1–2 hours for flavors to meld.
  6. Serve:
    • Garnish with extra strawberry slices, banana slices, or cookie crumbs before serving.

Pro tips:

  • Macerate the strawberries with 1 tsp sugar for 10 minutes to make them juicier and sweeter.
  • For extra flavor, a dash of lemon juice or orange zest brightens the fruit layers.
  • Use shortcake cookies for a more cake-like texture or vanilla wafers for a classic pudding feel.

I can also give a single-serving mason jar version that’s quick to assemble and perfect for portioned desserts. Do you want that version?
