Strawberry Cream Cheese Cobbler

Posted on January 1, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a delicious Strawberry Cream Cheese Cobbler recipe—sweet, creamy, and perfect for dessert 🍓🧀

Strawberry Cream Cheese Cobbler

Serves: 6–8
Time: ~45 minutes

Ingredients

For the Filling:

  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • ½ cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thicker filling)

For the Cream Cheese Layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Biscuit Topping:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp cold butter, cubed
  • ½ cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven:
    • 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare strawberries:
    • In a bowl, mix strawberries with sugar, vanilla, and cornstarch. Spread evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Make cream cheese layer:
    • Beat cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth. Dollop over strawberries, spreading gently.
  4. Make biscuit topping:
    • In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
    • Stir in milk until just combined.
  5. Assemble:
    • Drop spoonfuls of biscuit topping over the cream cheese and strawberry layers. It’s okay if some filling peeks through.
  6. Bake:
    • 30–35 minutes, until topping is golden and cooked through.
  7. Serve:
    • Let cool slightly. Serve warm, optionally with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Tips & Variations

  • Berry mix: Add blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries for a mixed-berry cobbler.
  • Extra creamy: Swirl a little mascarpone or ricotta into the cream cheese layer.
  • Sweet crunch: Sprinkle sugar or oats on top of the biscuit layer before baking.
  • Mini cobblers: Bake in ramekins for individual servings.

If you want, I can also give a faster, simpler one-bowl version that skips the separate layers but still tastes amazing. Do you want that?
